Michelle Perera

Director of Library and Recreation Services
City of Sunnyvale

Michelle Perera serves as the Director of Library and Recreation Services for the City of Sunnyvale. She previously led libraries in the cities of Pasadena and Rancho Cucamonga. In 2019 she served as president of CLA and was recently named CLA Member of the Year. While at Rancho Cucamonga her library received the National Medal from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. She is also a former iSchool instructor at San Jose State University. Michelle is a 2013 LJ M&S recipient.
