Patty Wong

City Librarian
Santa Clara City Library

Patty Wong serves as City Librarian for the Santa Clara City Library. She has previously served as a library director and/or librarian for the communities of Santa Monica, Yolo County, Stockton-San Joaquin County, Oakland, and Berkeley. She has also worked as a school librarian in Oakland. She is the immediate past president of the American Library Association. Patty is the recipient of the 2012 ALA Equality Award. She is also a part-time faculty member for the iSchool at San Jose State University. Patty is a 2007 LJ M&S recipient.
