Heather Firchow

Library Administrator, Youth Services
LA County Library

Heather Firchow is the Youth Services Administrator at LA County Library. She oversees programs, projects, and services for children, teens, and adults. During her tenure the Youth Services Team has successfully applied for and received over $10 million in grant funding for youth programs. Youth Services has received two Top 10 Awards from LA County's Productivity and Quality Commission. With over 35 years of experience, Heather is a true-believer in the Library’s power to create positive change for the communities we serve. Heather received her BM in Vocal Arts from CSUN and an MLIS from the University of North Texas.
