Marlia Holmes

Senior Community Library Manager
Contra Costa County

Marlia Holmes is the Senior Community Library Manager of Pinole, Rodeo, and the North Richmond Lockers. She joined Contra Costa County Library System in 2018, but in total she has fifteen years of experience working in a library. Marlia received her bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and master’s degree from San Jose State University.Librarianship runs in her family, as she is the fourth member to become a librarian. Some of her biggest passions in librarianship include: creating and facilitating library programs, social media, and photography. In her spare time, Marlia enjoys cooking and loves playing the sims 4.
