Cheryl Lee

Library Services Manager
Contra Costa County Library

Cheryl Lee is the Library Services Manager for Contra Costa County Library. Before becoming a Librarian, she had dreams of being a Marketing Director for a Fortune 500 company. However, at the Library she was able to incorporate aspects of marketing through her current job of overseeing nine library locations in the County. By leveraging the power of social media, she has been able to attract large in person and virtual crowds using effective Facebook marketing techniques without paying for any ads. Her promotional efforts garnered her the 2014 Library Journal’s Mover and Shaker in the area of Marketing.
