Mike Marlin

Director
Braille and Talking Book Library

Mike L. Marlin (MLIS, University of Washington) serves as the Director of the California State Library’s Braille and Talking Book Library, the Northern CA regional library of the Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS). Mike is an active member of ALA, having just completed a term on its Executive Board and continuing as a Councilor at Large, and is a member of the Association of Government and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASGCLA) BOD. Mike works diligently on issues of universal design /access for all patrons and library workers with print and other disabilities.
