Erin Castillo-Swaika

Graduate Student
San José State University

Erin Castillo-Swaika is an MLIS Graduate (May '23) from San José State University. She serves as the Public Information Officer for REFORMA Los Angeles, and previously served as the Marketing and Promotion Chair for the CLA 2022 Annual Conference and Social Media Coordinator ('21-'22) for the SJSU Society of American Archivists Student Chapter. In 2022, Erin was awarded the Society of American Archivists’ Harold T. Pinkett Award and REFORMA National Scholarship for her family archives project. Culture, community, and bridging the digital divide have driven Erin’s MLIS path and continue to influence her professional goals.
