Yvonne Becerra is branch manager at the Albert H. Soliz Library in El Rio, with experience in Adult Literacy and Outreach, programming, and working with students. Yvonne has been with Ventura County Library since 2001, working in Volunteer Management, Public Relations, and programming reaching out to immigrants and underserved communities. Connecting with local residents is important to her and she focuses on including the community when planning programming.
Yvonne enjoys working with youth. In time away from the library she teaches martial arts to kids at the local YMCA.
