This interactive super session will focus on working with adults who are learning English as an additional language. The presenter will provide information on ways to support tutors and teachers to • create a safe and productive learning community • use tips and techniques to increase the amount of time that learners are talking in sessions and other evidence-based, learner-centered teaching and learning strategies • integrate vocabulary learning and teaching activities into instruction
Session participants will share their experiences and discuss practices to implement or refine in their English language programs so that everyone can walk away with idea to implement right away.
