Joy Rodriguez

Reference & Instruction Librarian
Samuel Merritt University

Joy Rodriguez is a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Samuel Merritt University (SMU), Fresno campus. Prior to joining SMU in 2021, she was a Medical & Copyright Librarian at Kaiser Permanente at the Fresno Medical Center where she provided education and information support services for physicians and staff throughout the Northern California region. Joy has a BA in History from San Diego State University, an MLIS from San Jose State University and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking crocheting, camping and hiking.
