Karina Sanchez

Library Assistant
Fresno County Public Library

As a Library Assistant and community link at the Mosqueda Branch in Fresno, Karina Sanchez, has been entrusted to carry the FCPL’s mission by ensuring that the community she serves has a safe haven where they can be inspired to grow their unique talents and interests. While graduating with a B.S in Criminology and joining the Consulate of Mexico in Fresno, Karina uses her previous educational and work experience as one of the few Spanish-certified library staff members by helping close the language and cultural barriers their distinctive communities face alongside other passionate Spanish-speaking colleagues.
