Jana Waitman

Senior Librarian
Ontario City Library

Jana Waitman is a senior librarian at Ontario City Library with an MLS from the University of Arizona. With 17 years at Ontario, she has implemented thousands of programs for all ages including story times, large scale events, and 40+ virtual videos produced during the pandemic. She recently moved to Adult Services to, among other things, establish and build the adult literacy program and to buy adult books (after years of purchasing children’s materials). Jana loves talking about TV shows, the MCU, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Avatar: TLA, and many more fandoms that this word count won’t allow.
