Michele Kimpton

Global Senior Director
LYRASIS

Michele Kimpton is Global Senior Director of the Palace Project, at Lyrasis and has been a leader in digital library innovation for the past twenty years focused on access, discovery and open source community software. Prior to joining Lyrasis she served as Director of Business Development and Senior Strategist at the Digital Public Library of America, where she was instrumental in building the DPLA ebooks program, and was a leader in the Library Simplified community. In 2013, she was named a digital preservation pioneer by the Library of Congress.
