Erik Berman

Teen Services Coordinator
Alameda County Library

Erik is the Coordinator of Services to Young Adults for the Alameda County Library, and past chair of CLA’s Youth Service Interest Group. A Library Journal Mover and Shaker and Eureka! Leadership Institute Fellow, Erik has focused his efforts on increasing teen involvement in the creation of their programing and spaces. Erik’s projects include constructing teen designed spaces in San Jose and Fremont and the creation of life skills workshops to teach life and job skills. When not working, Erik can be found reading manga and trying not to start any more fires cooking.
