Carlos Baffigo

Building Basics for Libraries

Carlos served as Deputy Library Director of the Pasadena Public Library in Pasadena, CA, where he oversaw library operations, facility management, Information Technology, and library security. His 30-year library facility management experience includes major relocations, remodels, historic building renovations, build-outs, retrofits, safety initiatives, technology implementations, EOC management, disaster mitigation, and security response.
Most recently, Carlos offered a four-part webinar series on library facility management through the California Libraries Learn (CALL) program, a partnership with the California State Library, California Libray Association, InfoPeople, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Carlos also brings customized education and consulting services to libraries.
