Julie Moore

Special Collections Catalog Librarian
California State University, Fresno

Julie Renee Moore is the Special Collections Catalog Librarian at California State University, Fresno.
Julie currently sits on the Task Force for writing the OLAC Best Practices for Cataloging DVD-Video and Blu-ray Discs, Objects, Streaming Media, and Video Games.
She received the ALA ALCTS Margaret Mann Citation, OLAC’s Nancy B. Olson Award, and the CLA TSIG Award of Achievement.
Her research interests lie in critical cataloging and in the cataloging of special formats.
Over the 30+ years of her career, she has cataloged most all of the funny formats, including a black bear in Alaska.
