Assistive Technology Librarian Braille and Talking Book Library
Did you know that there is a free audiobook and braille library that offers instantaneous, downloadable books, magazines, and more, to eligible patrons? The Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL) of Northern California, as part of the nationwide National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, offers a variety of ways for patrons to access materials. Patrons qualify for services if they have a visual impairment or blindness, a physical disability, or a reading disability. Public libraries and school libraries are eligible for their own accounts, too! This presentation will cover what the service is, who may apply, how to apply, and how to take advantage of all that BTBL has to offer, including information about our new assistive technology lending program.
