In this highly interactive co-design session, participants will investigate: the why of library summer services, how to build equity-based summer services, bringing community voices into summer planning and implementation, and moving beyond traditional summer service structures to better ensure equity throughout. Participants will leave the session with the beginnings of an action plan for assessing equitable practices in current summer services and for planning future summer services to ensure equity is embedded throughout.
